Elena Kuzheleva was born in Odessa and graduated from Odessa’s P.S. Stolyarsky Special Musical School as well as completing studies in two faculties of the city’s A.V. Nezhdanova State Musical Academy: musicology and solo singing in the class of Professor Vasily Navrotsky. She defended her thesis on “Non-actual style as a phenomenon of composer’s poetry in 20th century” and she has taught at the Odessa Conservatory. She has been a soloist in the Odessa Philharmonic theatre and studied in Moscow at the V.S. Popov Academy of Choral Art in the class of Professor Svetlana Nesterenko, Coach of Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre.

She has taken part in Mariella Devia’s master-classes in Rome.

She has worked since 2014 in the Solomia Krushelnitskaya National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Lviv and since 2015, with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Odessa under conductor Hobart Earle.

Elena began her international career with concerts in Austria, Russia, Luxembourg, Germany. She appeared at the Spring in Russia festival (2010); at the Viennese Ball (2011); at the Northern Lights International Music Festival in the USA (2012); at the Festival de Wiltz in Luxembourg (2014); at the Renaissance festival in Gyumri, Armenia (2016); at The Grand Venetian Masked Ball in Monte- Carlo under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco(2018); and at the Voix des Merveilles Festival in France in (2019). Elena also appeared in seven concerts with the Wiener Rezidenzorchester in Vienna (2019).

She was invited to be on the jury of the Renaissance VIII International Contest in Armenia in 2016 and the Vienna International Music Competition in Austria in 2018. She is a regular participant in chamber music projects with outstanding musicians such as Aleksandr Ghindin, Yuri Martynov, Aleksey Semenenko, Igor Fedorov. Elena is also the founder of Vienna Musical Express.

The 2019/20 season brings several exciting debuts for Elena Kuzheleva. Further highlights include Elena singing program «In Love with Mozart» (Germany), Hommage à Maria Callas Gala Monaco (Monte-Carlo) and the season continues with concerts in Scandinavia and Austria.
