Mary Kunz Goldman is the former music critic for The Buffalo News and also the authorized biographer of the great American piano virtuoso Leonard Pennario. She is also a classical pianist who competed in the first Van Cliburn International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs. After leaving the paper in 2018, she discovered a love for art and is now a professional artist. She does ink sketches of her hometown of Buffalo, N.Y. and her sketches have been sold on prints, cards, and other products. Mary also loves creating designs related to classical music.
