The American musician hailing from Kazakhstan launched his international career by winning the Gold Medal at the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition in Zwickau, Germany, and now continues to perform also as an emerging conductor.

Conservatory and St. Petersburg Philharmonic Grand Halls, Deutsche Radio Berlin, Hong Kong Radio, Radio Russia and Orpheus Radio; recorded CDs for RCD and Con Brio Recordings
labels.
A diverse musician, Mr. Yerzhanov has collaborated with many opera singers, instrumentalists and opera companies. As a conductor he performed with Kazakh Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, Google Orchestra, Capital Philharmonia Brasilia, Kazakh National Abai Opera, Astana Opera and Shymkent Opera. As a Music Director at the Opera Cultura, San Jose he conducted La Llorona, Cuentos de Perigrinacion and West Coast premiere of Bless me, Ultima by Hector Armienta. As Artistic Director he led youth Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum from Fremont, CA to the Carnegie Hall in New York.
A graduate and former faculty member of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Temirzhan Yerzhanov studied piano with Professor Mikhail Voskressensky and conducting with Imant Airea. He was named ‘Best Performer of 2007’ by San Francisco Classical Voice. In his native country he is awarded with Yenbek Sinirgen Qairatkeri, the highest honorary title for national contribution.
