Individual Giving Manager

We are currently searching for an Individual Giving Manager to join our Development Group. This role will be responsible for setting the strategy, identifying and soliciting donors, and executing fundraising plans to acquire, retain, and grow individual donor support up to $1,000 level. Working collaboratively, the Individual Giving Manager will be an active member supporting the major and planned giving efforts of the team and assisting with fundraising and stewardship events. A few key accountabilities and qualifications include:
Developing and implementing strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the Community Level Donors (up to $1,000)
Designing appeal campaign content for brochures, direct mail, email, social media, or other related digital collateral
Collaborating with Marketing staff to design and implement a streamlined digital communication strategy within a CRM driven model, incorporating key development strategies and messages as needed
Creating and managing reporting and analysis of donation program data
Managing the communication strategy for prospects and donors
Attending performances, donor receptions, or other Orchestra events when necessary (typically 2-5 evenings per month)
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in fundraising, preferably with individual donors
Demonstrated experience using MS Suite, specifically, Excel and Word
Demonstrated experience using fundraising databases, preferably Tessitura
Demonstrated ability to think strategically yet provide tactical execution of fundraising campaigns
Excellent written communication skills with strong experience in writing fundraising content
Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to initiate direct communication with donors, prospects, volunteers, and vendors
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels of management and staff
Self-motivated with the ability work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
