Welcome to Mozart's List

GETTING STARTED

Mozart’s List is a resource built for the global classical music community. Whether you’re a musician, teacher, arts administrator, presenter, or behind-the-scenes professional, you can use the site to share your work, connect your activities, and help others discover what you offer.

This guide walks you through the basics so you can start creating and connecting listings with ease.

1. Create Your Profile

  • Go to List It > Add Profile
  • Fill in your name, role, location, and a short bio
  • Upload a profile photo (300px x 300px or larger)
  • Optionally, add a cover image (1400px x 400px or larger)

2. Add a Business Listing (Optional, but Recommended)

If you are part of an organization, run your own studio, offer services, or simply want a central place to connect all of your listings, a business listing is the way to go.

  • Go to List It > Add Business Listing
  • Include your organization’s name, location, and description
  • Add categories, contact preferences, and upload images into the gallery

This listing becomes the anchor for other listing activity—jobs, classifieds, events, and more can all link back to this main listing page.

3. Create a Listing

Professional Listings

  • Jobs – Post job openings in orchestras, institutions, or education & academia
  • Classifieds – Offer items for sale, services, or lessons
  • Events – Promote upcoming concerts, master classes, or festivals
  • Resumes – Post your background and experience
  • Instruments for Sale – List individual instruments

Go to List It and choose the appropriate form. You’ll be guided through each step.

You can share links to any listing on Mozart’s List across social media, email, and other platforms—it’s promotion-ready.

4. Share to Mozart Media

  • Mozart TV – Video features, interviews, trailers, behind-the-scenes
  • Mozart Audio – Share podcasts, recordings, or audio links
  • Portraits – Tell a visual story through photos of artists or ensembles
  • Community Blog – Contribute essays or reflections on the classical world
  • Mozart Pets – Add some joy with photos of your musical companions

These media listings can also be linked to your business listing, just like events and classifieds.

5. Link Listings to Your Main Business Listing

When creating a new listing (e.g., a job or classified), you’ll see a field labeled Link to Business. Start typing your business name, select it from the suggestions, and the listing will automatically link to your main business profile.

This ensures visitors see all your connected listings in one place.

6. Explore Listings and Find Inspiration

Browse the Listings menu or check out examples like the *Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart* page to see how various types of listings connect.

You can also explore ideas by visiting the Categories section found in the Browse by Category on the Mozart’s List menu.
